Inspiration: Bathrooms

I think our real estate hunt will be kick started this fall and I'm already thinking about decorating (a house not yet owned). Here is my bathroom inspiration from Design Sponge's Best Of Bathrooms post.

Entranceway benches

I am a big fan of benches - outdoors and indoors. This one was a before and after on Design Sponge (don't you just heart their before and after photos? So inspiring).

Blonde floors

While dark, coffee and chocolate-inspired wood floors are lovely, I'm thinking more and more that blonde is the way to go (if and when the Hub and I ever settle in our own little nest). Inspiration found at Design Sponge where Grace and the girls are going through their best-of series.

Thinking about planting

February and March are perfect for planning a spring plant; seed catalogues usually get mailed around this time of year. There was so much rain last summer that our balcony green dreams never really sprouted but maybe this year will be different.

Alphabet Posters

Just bought this adorable alphabet poster for the little Rio Star! Designed and printed by Enna and available on Etsy. If this one doesn't suit your fancy, check out the alphabet poster guide on Design Sponge.

Wordy gift idea

Brooke Reynolds of Inchmark posted this lovely - and wordy - gift idea on Design Sponge today. An alphabet stack gift card for someone you know really well. For each letter, you pick a character trait (flattering of course) that best describes that person. Putting this one in the craft trunk.

rainy day pencils

Rain since 11:30 a.m. The future husband is out collecting soil samples for work. Inspired by Laura Normandin's guest blog on Design Sponge, I decided to craft up my own storm this morning. The paper was left over from one of my Big Sister craft nights, 20 pencils for two bucks from the dollar store and the forgotten about Mod Podge. LOVed that stuff as a kid.
