Wish list: Notebooks

Let's just pretend I am still in school and my mom told me I could buy three beautiful new notebooks to start the school year. I'd buy the following three from Poppytalk Handmade's current market.

Oh goodness! If my money tree was growing abundantly this summer, I'd indulge in these lovelies for the fall. Discovered over at Cup of Jo.

2.6.10

Wish list

As I pack, I question how we managed to amass so much additional stuff over the last two years. But it doesn't lessen the sweetness of this blue fish zip purse by kit + lili. First spotted over on Simple Lovely, one of the blogs I check regularly. Would make a fun summer addition.

Wish list

Doesn't this brown leather weekender from Rowallan make you want to escape on a weekend getaway to a quaint country inn? I'd grab the Hub and head to the Benmiller Inn in Goderich, just up the shore from Sarnia.

Homemade wish list

I'm pretending that I got a raise today and I've gone imaginary shopping over at Poppytalk Handmade.

1. Lovely wooden slate table by bookhou
2. Hand-knitted neck warmer by sandra juto
3. Let's Go Ride print by 1canoe2

Wish list

Oh goodness. My desire for one of these is growing. Six months into our nuptial adventure and the baby pangs are intensifying. But, alas, I'm still in this funny place called Sarnia, hanging out in career limbo, a bounce on the horizon. So it will be a while yet...The Hub left after dinner tonight for Lansing, Michigan. I guess that's what happens when you live in a border city...you have to drive across that dang-thang and go to work meetings in funny places.

Handmade wish list

I just went imaginary shopping over @ Poppytalk Handmade, and this is what I bought with my imaginary money:

From top to bottom:
1. Silver Flower Cushion by be still.
2. Hello There greeting cards by Pistachio Press.
3. Airstream painting by Leah Giberson.

10.3.10

And beautiful chalk

Ohhh...60 sticks of chalk beautifully contained in a round paper holder. The label reminds me of elementary French class. This would be a wonderful accompaniment to the homemade chalkboards the Hub and I give as wedding gifts.

Wish list

I was at the Sarnia Library tonight hoping that the quietness would help me focus on a freelance project. Unfortunately, they have such an extensive magazine collection, I got caught up in the glossy pages of a couple of publications. Now on my wish list are subscriptions to Sunset Magazine and Yoga Journal. While I appreciate the convenience and zero-cost nature to online editions, it's no substitute for the printed page.

Cashmere-wool goodness...and Made in Canada too

Oh goodness. I ordered the 'Morgan' Coat last night from dace in british columbia. I'm tres excited to receive it and more excited to wear it - a cashmere-wool blend in gun metal grey. And it was forty percent off the sale price. Props to Alyson @ Unruly Things the heads up about the sample sale.
